CompuDoc Kimoto
A Compact, Clean, Desktop Platesetter
Now a computer-to-plate system that is not aimed at high
end commercial printers! More and more digital files
are coming into print shops, small offset printers,
in-plant and others. This compact platesetter is the
affordable repro solution for printers with a PC or Mac.
The Kimoto 410 is an upgraded model of the Kimoto 340
which was first introduced in 2000 for A3 portrait size
presses, the Kimoto 410 covers 52cm size machines,
commonly known as GTO size.
Toner free
The Kimoto
410 uses its own special ink ribbon cassettes. It does not use any chemicals or
toner.

High resolution
Equivalent to
1200dpi, the Kimoto 410 gives exceptional image quality resulting in smooth
crisp text, sharp line work, high density solids and clean halftones.
Up to 52cm size machine
Accommodating all
popular plate sizes up to 16.14" x 20" (410mm x 510mm) , the Kimoto 410 is capable of imaging
full bleed A3 with crops and registration marks.

Clean background
Since it uses no
toner, the thermal transfer unit cannot create unwanted image in the background
of the Kimoplate e2.
Compact design
The Kimoto
410 is comparable in size and style to an A3 inkjet printer and will not look
out of place in a studio environment.

RIP is included
An Adobe
PostScript
software RIP is included in the package.
The hardware key (dongle) is not necessary; its function is embedded in
the machine. The RIP does not need its own dedicated computer and can be
run on a production PC or Macintosh.
